Arbitration and ADR Promotion Intern – Africa Team

About the role

The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) is looking for a motivated intern to join its Africa Arbitration and ADR Promotion team in Paris. This six‑month placement, starting July 2026, offers hands‑on experience in international commercial arbitration and alternative dispute resolution across African jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Support the organisation and coordination of ICC conferences, trainings, roundtables and stakeholder‑engagement initiatives across Africa.
• Assist in preparing briefing notes, reports, promotional materials and external communications.
• Conduct legal and market research on arbitration and ADR developments in African jurisdictions and monitor relevant market trends.
• Support engagement initiatives with law firms, corporates, arbitral institutions, young practitioner networks and ICC YAAF Africa activities.
• Contribute to strategic projects and internal coordination within the Africa Arbitration and ADR team.

Required profile

• Current student (or recent graduate still enrolled) in international commercial law, arbitration or a related field with strong academic credentials.
• Prior work or internship experience in a legal environment.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Meticulous, team‑oriented and eager to work in a dynamic, international setting.
