Approvals & QMS Manager

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking an Approvals & QMS Manager to join its Quality Management System Department in Toulouse, France. You will act as the main liaison with civil and military authorities, ensuring that all organisational approvals are obtained, maintained, and aligned with airworthiness requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary interface with authorities to obtain and retain approvals such as DOA, POA, MOA, TOA, and CAMO.
• Lead approval surveillance activities, manage audits, and support the resolution of non‑compliances.
• Monitor external regulatory changes, assess impact, and update organisational procedures accordingly.
• Validate company documents for regulatory compliance and qualify authorised signatories.
• Drive continuous improvement within the Quality Management System and ensure up‑to‑date manuals and change‑management processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in aviation regulatory approvals and quality management.
• Strong knowledge of organisational approval processes (DOA, POA, MOA, etc.).
• Ability to work closely with civil/military authorities and internal audit teams.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret regulatory changes and implement corrective actions.
