AIV/AIT Manager – Spacecraft Assembly & Integration

About the role

Astroscale France is seeking an experienced AIV/AIT Manager to lead the assembly, integration, verification and launch of its space missions from the new Toulouse office. You will be responsible for delivering spacecraft‑level AIV/AIT activities and ensuring that all technical and programmatic requirements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver spacecraft and mission‑level Assembly, Integration and Verification/Test (AIV/AIT) activities.
• Design, develop and commission AIV/AIT test set‑ups.
• Create and maintain AIV/AIT procedures, plans, workflows and schedules.
• Support bid preparation with cost and schedule budgets for AIV/AIT work.
• Contribute to the industrial strategy, including facility creation and management.
• Provide guidance, training and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Represent the AIV/AIT team in internal and external meetings with suppliers and customers.
• Coordinate AIV/AIT activities across the Astroscale group of companies.
• Maintain cost and budget traceability.

Required profile

• Master’s, MSc or higher in mechanical, electrical or related scientific fields.
• 10+ years of experience delivering spacecraft or mission‑level AIV/AIT activities.
• Proven knowledge of spacecraft AIV/AIT processes across multiple manufacturers.
• Strong understanding of spacecraft systems, interfaces and operations.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Eligible to work in Europe and obtain French security clearance.
