Aircraft Control Test Engineer

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Aircraft Control Test Engineer to join the Control Modelling, Simulation & V&V department in Toulouse, France. You will work with system designer teams and V&V test teams to coordinate maturity testing activities of aircraft control systems on a simulated platform.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, perform tests and associated analysis on the simulated platform.
• Coordinate maturity test activities, including roadmap, workload estimation and reporting for milestones.
• Collaborate closely with design and testing teams.
• Participate in testing tools development and validation.

Required profile

• System design and development experience in aircraft control systems.
• Knowledge of V&V referentials (ARP4754, DO178) and model‑based engineering processes.
• Proficiency in English; French is a strong asset.

Required skills

• Simulation tools (VSIM‑D, SIMPA/OSMA, A/C 0).
• Testing tools and management (MAGIC, LTM, JIRA XRAY, FTA‑NG).
• Configuration and change management tools (GIT, JIRA, Trackdev).
• Model‑based design tools (SAO, SCADE, SQUID‑NG).
