AI & Analytics Service Owner

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space seeks a Service Owner to lead AI and Analytics capabilities for the strategic BROMO joint‑venture project. You will manage current AI services while designing and executing the carve‑out to an independent, sovereign technical stack.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure high availability, reliability and performance of AI & Analytics services on Airbus Defence and Space platforms, adhering to service agreements.
• Define and execute the roadmap to separate and transition AI/Analytics capabilities into an autonomous infrastructure for the new joint venture.
• Partner with Cloud, DevOps and Cyber Security teams to meet European digital sovereignty and security requirements.
• Lead cross‑functional alignment across Development, Data Science and Cybersecurity teams.
• Drive FinOps initiatives to optimise resource consumption and costs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT carve‑out / M&A separation strategies and system migration.
• Strong background in AI/ML stacks and enterprise‑grade analytics service management (ITSM/ITIL).
• Deep knowledge of European digital sovereignty, data residency and defence‑level security standards.
• Excellent stakeholder management, executive presence and ability to navigate complex joint‑venture environments.
