Agent de conduite – installations usine et stations d'eau

About the role

As an Agent de conduite, you will work in a two‑person team to operate the drinking‑water production plant and its associated sites for Nantes Metropole. You will ensure continuous, safe, and efficient operation of the installations while supporting maintenance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise plant operations and perform regular equipment inspection tours.
• Act as the first point of contact for maintenance crews, conducting first‑level diagnostics.
• Execute lockout/tagout procedures, equipment shutdowns, and start‑ups according to internal protocols.
• Handle the unloading of chemical products safely.
• Apply hygiene, safety, and environmental instructions at all times.
• Work rotating 3‑shift schedule (3 × 8 h) with on‑call duties.

Required profile

• Training in electrotechnics or water‑related professions (e.g., MEI, GEMEAU).
• Good knowledge of electricity and ability to read schematics and plans.
• Proficiency with standard office software.
• Strong relational skills, teamwork orientation, and ability to anticipate priorities.
• Autonomous, rigorous, and adaptable.
• Valid driving licence B, no known chemical allergies, no vertigo, and ability to swim.
• Beginners are welcome.
