About the role

dormakaba is seeking a Senior Buyer to join its French team in Antony. Reporting to the Regional Procurement Director WSEE, you will support direct‑spend categories, collaborate with material planners and drive cost‑saving initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Category Manager for direct‑spend activities.
• Assist material planners and stock managers during operational escalations.
• Take ownership of smaller local categories and contribute to annual savings targets.
• Manage order processes for prototypes, FAIR, tooling and maintain master data (lead times, material codes, etc.).
• Execute RfXs, evaluate quotations and lead small purchasing projects.
• Provide administrative support including KPI analysis, data maintenance, certificate collection and archiving.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in direct procurement.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities, resilience in a fast‑moving environment.
• Commercial or technical degree; additional purchasing certifications are a plus.
• Comfortable working independently and proactively within a complex, changing setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with SAP‑MM.
• Familiarity with e‑procurement tools.
