Account Manager – Mid‑Market Portfolio

About the role

You will own and grow a portfolio of around 100 mid‑market and commercial accounts in France, driving retention and expansion to meet ambitious net revenue targets. You will work within an 8‑person Account Management team that is shifting up‑market.

Key responsibilities

• Manage ~100 mid‑market and commercial accounts, achieving retention and expansion goals.
• Analyse adoption and usage data to identify whitespace and create tiered expansion plans (cross‑sell, new use cases, new business units, personas).
• Map stakeholders, identify champions, multi‑thread accounts and run mutual action plans with disciplined closing.
• Anticipate renewals, protect ARR and handle procurement and discount pressure through value‑based trading.
• Maintain accurate forecasts and a clean pipeline with clear next steps for every opportunity.
• Share best practices with the team and contribute to the shift toward larger accounts.

Required profile

• Experience as an Account Manager or Account Executive with expansion targets, comfortable hunting within an existing portfolio.
• Track record of managing a high‑volume book (100‑300 accounts) in Mid‑Market or SMB, using tiering to focus effort.
• Proficiency in using adoption and usage data to drive expansion plans.
• Strong stakeholder‑mapping, champion identification, multi‑threading and closing discipline.
• Ability to protect value in renewals and negotiations rather than defaulting to discounts.
• Native‑level French (C2) and functional English (B1‑B2).

Required skills

• Experience with AI tools to increase efficiency across a large portfolio.

What we offer

• Base salary €44,000–€53,000 plus variable €31,000–€37,000 (OTE €75,000–€90,000).
