A220 Structure Repair Designer

About the role

The Airframe In‑Service Engineering team is looking for an A220 Structure Repair Designer to develop and deliver timely repair solutions for damaged aircraft structures, ensuring safety and airworthiness for global airline customers.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse damage reports and create innovative repair instructions compliant with certification and Airbus processes.
• Design standard and basic repairs using CATIA V5, coordinating with A220 stakeholders and considering airworthiness, material, aerodynamic and regulatory impacts.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to daily repair projects that add value for operators.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent).
• Strong sense of responsibility, customer orientation and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Organised, able to manage time and priorities effectively, and comfortable working in a shift pattern (average 34.5 h/week, one weekend per month).

Required skills

• Proficiency with CATIA V5.
• Understanding of stress analysis and airworthiness requirements for aircraft structures.
• Advanced level of English and French.
