A220 Stress Analyst Specialist – Metallic Structures

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Stress Analyst Specialist for metallic structures to join the A220 in‑service engineering team in Toulouse. You will analyse damage reports and approve repair solutions for the entire A220 fleet, ensuring compliance with certification requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse damage reports and approve repair solutions from a structural strength perspective for all A220 airframe components.
• Perform static strength and damage‑tolerance analyses for metallic repairs, supporting the creation of repair manuals and publications.
• Collaborate daily with multidisciplinary teams in Canada and Australia, coordinating repair proposals and ensuring airworthiness compliance.
• Deliver repair instructions and documentation in line with Airbus processes and certification standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s (BAC+5) or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of aircraft metallic structure stress analysis and ability to read repair drawings.
• Strong organisational skills, initiative, and customer‑oriented mindset.
• Advanced proficiency in English and French.
