3PL Supplier Procurement Manager

About the role

JD.com is seeking a seasoned 3PL Supplier Procurement Manager to lead the strategic sourcing of warehousing, FTL/LTL trucking, and last‑mile courier services across Europe. You will shape a resilient, cost‑effective logistics supplier ecosystem that supports the company’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously refine long‑term procurement plans for European logistics services.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers, integrating warehousing assets, trucking resources, and last‑mile networks.
• Negotiate complex, multi‑year agreements, pricing, SLAs, and payment terms with core suppliers.
• Implement a systematic supplier management framework with performance evaluation, tiered management, and incentives.
• Monitor European logistics market trends, regulatory changes, and risks, adjusting strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with operations, sales, finance, and other functions to ensure seamless end‑to‑end logistics supply chain execution.

Required profile

• 5+ years of integrated logistics procurement experience in Europe.
• Deep knowledge of the European contract logistics market and a strong local supplier network.
• Proven record of strategic procurement planning, cost optimisation, and supplier ecosystem development.
• Excellent negotiation, contract management, and crisis‑management abilities.
• Fluent in French and English (mandatory).
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
