Validation Technician

About the role

As a Validation Technician you will be the backbone of flight operations, ensuring the autonomous drone fleet is airworthy, updated, and ready for rapid deployment. You will manage the validation lab, support engineers during field campaigns, and conduct test flights as the safety operator.

Key responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on the drone fleet, including soldering, mechanical assembly, and part replacement.
• Pilot drones during test campaigns and act as the safety operator.
• Manage inventory of spare parts, batteries, and field equipment; organize transport for test campaigns.
• Execute standard test protocols and report results to the engineering team.
• Keep the workshop organized, safe, and fully stocked.

Required profile

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in electronics, mechanics, or RC modeling.
• Excellent manual dexterity for soldering, wiring, and mechanical assembly.
• Organized and safety‑conscious attitude.
• Experience piloting multi‑rotor or fixed‑wing UAVs; certification is a strong plus.
• Willingness to travel for field testing.
