Solutions Architect

About the role

The Solutions Architect will translate detailed business requirements into robust architectural designs, ensuring alignment with client standards and optimal reuse of existing components. You will work closely with development and infrastructure teams to deliver customized artefacts and guide the effective use of modelling tools.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and respond to detailed business specifications, creating conceptual architecture models using client‑approved tools.
• Design, develop, test and deploy customised artefacts such as reports, data scripts, diagrams and tool configurations.
• Identify system, infrastructure and project inter‑dependencies, balancing competing demands to meet delivery milestones.
• Assess and advise on governance, conventions, procedures and customisations for modelling tools to maximise their effectiveness.
• Collaborate in agile development environments and contribute to cloud‑based (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) solution delivery.

Required profile

• University degree in IT or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of overall IT experience, including at least 5 years as a technology, data or applications/services architect.
• Proven experience in software development, on‑premise, virtualization and cloud infrastructures.
• Hands‑on experience with agile methodologies.
• TOGAF Practitioner certification.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• OCP (Oracle Certified Professional).
• PostgreSQL.
• Kafka.
• TOGAF framework.
• Sparx Enterprise Architect or similar modelling tools.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Security best practices and related tools.
• Biometrics knowledge (considered an asset).
