Software Engineer, Frontend

About the role

Mistral AI is looking for a passionate Senior Frontend Engineer to help shape the user experience of its AI‑driven products. You will work across the full stack, turning complex requirements into intuitive, high‑performance interfaces that serve a global user base.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable front‑end and back‑end features using a modern stack.
• Prioritize user‑centric design to ensure products are engaging, efficient, and intuitive.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code while participating in code reviews.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high‑quality software.
• Tackle complex technical challenges and devise efficient, reliable solutions.
• Stay current with AI and software development trends and apply them to improve the product suite.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and NodeJS, preferably in B2C contexts.
• Experience with front‑end frameworks such as React, NextJS, Remix, or VueJS.
• Familiarity with web libraries like Tanstack React Query, tRPC, and Framer Motion.
• Ability to ship products end‑to‑end with a focus on quality and performance.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and clear communication.
• Low‑ego, team‑spirit mindset; autonomous and self‑starting.
