Senior Financial / Cost Controller

About the role

Coface is seeking a Senior Financial / Cost Controller to join its Group Finance team supporting the Business Information division. The role will oversee cost monitoring, analysis and optimisation to drive profitability and ensure transparent cost reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly/quarterly closing, annual budgeting and forecasting, monitoring actuals versus plan and recommending corrective actions.
• Own P&L cost lines, including inter‑company recharges, and provide clear variance analysis and explanations.
• Develop and maintain detailed production cost models, identify cost drivers and optimise margins for products and customers.
• Manage global transfer‑price monitoring, collaborating with operational teams to understand processes and cost structures.
• Strengthen cost‑control processes, financial governance and internal controls while improving data quality and automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in management control, financial controlling or FP&A, preferably in financial services.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
• Proactive, structured, autonomous and results‑oriented mindset.
• Proven experience managing and analysing complex P&Ls.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with senior and non‑financial stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
• Use of financial analysis software.
