Senior Construction Project Manager

About the role

Data4 is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead the design, permitting, construction and commissioning of data centre facilities and major renovation projects. You will act as the bridge between operations, design, and construction teams, ensuring projects meet regulatory, technical and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage permitting processes, liaise with local and national authorities, and ensure compliance with building and environmental regulations.
• Lead design phases, coordinating engineering teams and aligning solutions with Data4 and customer needs.
• Oversee tendering, contract award, daily construction monitoring, health‑and‑safety compliance, and commissioning activities.
• Conduct project meetings, maintain as‑built documentation, generate regular reports and control budgets in partnership with finance.
• Support sales/pre‑sales teams on technical design issues, participate in customer audits, and act as technical referent for key accounts.
• Stay informed on international data‑centre design best practices and represent Data4 at industry events.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (electrical, climate, or generalist) or equivalent experience; at least 5 years in construction project management, design offices or installation firms.
• Proven track record managing complex projects in the hosting or service‑integration sector, preferably on occupied sites.
