Senior Business Controller

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑focused finance professional to join a large international organization as a Senior Business Controller. In this highly visible position you will partner with senior stakeholders, drive performance, and provide insightful financial analysis that influences strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own budgeting, forecasting and planning cycles for a key business area, ensuring clear financial visibility.
• Deliver high‑quality financial reports with concise commentary for senior leadership.
• Analyse performance, identify value drivers and recommend actions to improve outcomes.
• Act as a business partner to senior stakeholders, supporting both strategic and operational decisions.
• Evaluate business cases, investments and cost initiatives to guide resource allocation.
• Track and challenge performance through relevant KPIs, promoting accountability.
• Support cost‑optimization and continuous performance‑improvement initiatives.
• Drive enhancements in planning, reporting and controlling processes for greater efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to finance transformation projects across the organization.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Fluent in French and English.
• 5‑8 years of proven experience in Controlling, FP&A or Business Finance within an international environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive, hands‑on attitude and comfortable working in a fast‑paced setting.
