Senior Analyst – Corporate Banking Coverage (CIB)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join Santander’s Corporate & Investment Banking Coverage team in Paris. The role supports the relationship‑driven model focused on a portfolio of around 80 large corporate clients in France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Ireland, providing comprehensive banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior bankers in managing and expanding relationships with large corporate clients.
• Monitor client revenues, build business plans and project profitability and exposure.
• Prepare and facilitate internal approvals for capital allocation and risk committees.
• Coordinate with product specialists and global relationship partners to deliver solutions across Iberia, Latin America, the UK, the US and other regions.
• Maintain compliance and KYC documentation as required.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance or a related discipline from a recognised business school.
• At least 3 years of experience in corporate coverage, product teams or relevant internships.
• Strong analytical mindset and intellectual curiosity.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, international environment and collaborate with senior bankers.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of corporate banking products including M&A advisory, ECM, DCM, syndicated loans, acquisition finance, leveraged finance, structured finance, FX/FI hedging, trade finance, export finance and cash management.
• Familiarity with compliance, KYC and risk management processes.
