Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to ensure the accuracy, transparency, and compliance of financial operations across our European entities. Based in Paris, you will work closely with cross‑functional teams, drive continuous improvement, and support the transformation of our accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Record, verify, consolidate, and reconcile transactions while resolving discrepancies.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close in collaboration with the controlling team.
• Manage day‑to‑day accounting activities, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, journal postings, and fixed‑asset registers.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, ensure timely invoicing, and reconcile billing data.
• Maintain compliance with local GAAP, IFRS, VAT, and internal accounting policies.
• Prepare tax filings, VAT declarations, and support external/internal audits.
• Recommend and implement process improvements, especially automation within SAP Business One.
• Liaise with the Financial Controlling department and mentor junior accountants.

Required profile

• Several years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
