Responsable du service finances (F/H)

About the role

The municipality of Ferrières-en-Gâtinais is looking for a Finance Service Manager to lead its budgeting, accounting and public procurement functions. Reporting to the Deputy General Director, you will ensure the efficiency and compliance of all financial procedures for the town’s services.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the town’s budgetary and financial strategy.
• Prepare, execute and monitor the main budget and ancillary budgets.
• Manage accounting for public markets, investment orders, debt and treasury.
• Produce financial statements, perform retrospective and prospective analyses.
• Coordinate and control accounting and budgeting procedures across all departments.
• Oversee public procurement processes, from drafting administrative documents to monitoring contract execution.
• Manage municipal insurance, search for subsidies and follow up on investment grant dossiers.

Required profile

• Confirmed experience in public finance and accounting.
• Thorough knowledge of French public finance regulations.
• Ability to work transversally with all municipal services.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
