Repair and Design Certification Engineer (M/F) – 7/7 Shift Pattern

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Certification and Airworthiness Engineer to join its Design and Repair Certification department in Toulouse. The role focuses on providing airworthiness approval for in‑service repair solutions and supporting customers to return aircraft to an airworthy condition after an event.

Key responsibilities

• Issue airworthiness approvals for repair solutions using the Repair and Design Approval Form (RDAF) and Flight Condition Documents (FCD).
• Collaborate with Airbus customer services, design offices, chief engineer teams and other airworthiness departments.
• Act as an airworthiness specialist in multifunctional teams to resolve Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations.
• Work across all Airbus civil programmes, covering all ATA chapters, and develop multi‑skill expertise.
• Participate in a global “follow‑the‑sun” workflow with teams in the USA and India.

Required profile

• Willingness to work a 7‑day shift pattern (Monday to Sunday) on daytime hours.
• Strong collaboration skills to interact with offshore and on‑site teams.
• Broad knowledge of aircraft repair and design certification processes.
