Pharmacovigilance Scientist

About the role

Join Sanofi’s Patient Safety & Pharmacovigilance team as a Pharmacovigilance Scientist. You will support an international, dynamic team dedicated to safety surveillance throughout the product lifecycle of a broad range of medicines and vaccines. The role focuses on identifying safety signals, evaluating data, and ensuring regulatory compliance for both marketed products and those in clinical development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage proactive signal detection and safety management committee activities.
• Coordinate and author safety evaluations and responses to inquiries from internal or external stakeholders, including Health Authorities.
• Drive the end‑to‑end signal management process for assigned products in collaboration with the Global Safety Officer.
• Serve as a core member and coordinator of the Safety Management Team, preparing data outputs, slide presentations, facilitating discussions, and presenting comprehensive safety analyses.
• Partner with the Safety Team on activities related to new drug applications, regulatory filings, benefit‑risk assessment, and risk‑minimization, including the development of Risk Management Plans.
• Coordinate and oversee outsourced activities such as signal detection reports and safety evaluation reports.
