Operator / Service Technician – Wind Energy (France)

About the role

Join Vestas France as an Operator or Service Technician and work on the front line of wind energy innovation. You will help optimise wind farms throughout their lifecycle, ensuring turbines operate at maximum capacity and deliver the best possible energy efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Perform periodic service inspections according to Vestas specifications, including electrical, mechanical and hydraulic component replacement and troubleshooting.
• Maintain smooth turbine operation through condition monitoring and remote‑control systems.
• Manage service vehicle and warehouse stock, ordering tools, materials and spare parts as needed.
• Assemble components and major parts following work instructions, using internal or external cranes when required.
• Adhere to the highest safety and environmental standards while meeting service targets.

Required profile

• High‑school diploma with technical experience or a Bachelor’s/BTS/DUT in Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (BZEE certified).
• 2‑5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or electricity, with knowledge of high‑voltage systems.
• Proactive communication with customers, flexible, autonomous and results‑oriented.
• Ability to work at height and travel as required.
