Mechanical Transmission Technology Study Lead (M/F)

About the role

As a member of the Mechanical Transmission Service, you will lead the technical study and development of mechanical transmission systems for a family of engines. Your primary focus will be on designing and sizing the key mechanical modules that ensure reliable power transfer.

Key responsibilities

• Design and dimension mechanical assemblies for reducers, accessory gearboxes, and drive shafts.
• Perform calculations and simulations to validate performance and durability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate transmission solutions into engine platforms.
• Document design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
• Support prototype testing and iterate designs based on results.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in mechanical design of transmission components.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Mechanical design and dimensioning of gear reducers, gearboxes, and shafts.
• Proficiency in engineering calculation methods.
