Landing Gear Referent – Engineering

About the role

ATR is seeking a Landing Gear Referent to join the Hydromechanical Systems team within the Engineering Directorate. You will work closely with cross‑functional groups and suppliers to ensure the certification, reliability, and continuous improvement of our landing gear systems.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to certification activities for landing gear systems, covering serial modifications and incremental developments.
• Lead in‑service investigations, identify root causes, define corrective actions, and produce risk assessments.
• Provide technical support to the Customer Care Center and Final Assembly Line, answering technical queries.
• Review supplier documentation, technical reports and design change proposals, delivering structured feedback.
• Develop methods, tools and processes for landing gear systems supporting the current fleet and future aircraft.
• Drive technical decisions and own complex investigations with high autonomy.

Required profile

• Degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in landing gear design, architecture or technical support.
• Strong communication, negotiation and teamwork abilities.
• Fluent in English.
