Key Account Manager – Quick Service Restaurants (France)

About the role
Huhtamaki, a global provider of sustainable food‑service packaging, is looking for a results‑driven Key Account Manager to lead its Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) business in France. Working remotely from anywhere in France, you will report to the Category Sales Manager, Foodservice, and act as the primary link between customers, operations, and internal teams to drive profitable, sustainable growth.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and expand a portfolio of local and national QSR accounts.
- Identify, pursue and win new customers in line with company strategy.
- Develop retro‑plans with clients, defining milestones to secure and grow business.
- Increase product penetration and drive commercial innovation within existing accounts.
- Prepare monthly and annual forecasts and lead the 3‑year sales plan and budget for the region.
- Negotiate agreements and pricing according to internal policies.
- Use Salesforce to capture opportunities, threats and client‑visit reports.
- Represent the customer internally, ensuring cross‑functional alignment.
- Build strong technical knowledge of Huhtamaki products and customer specifications.
- Engage confidently with CEOs/founders and support new‑product‑development trials.
- Maintain composure during high‑pressure events such as launches or quality claims.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of sales or account‑management experience in foodservice, preferably with QSR customers.
- University degree in Business Administration or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong organisational skills and a structured approach to growing business.
- Ability to work independently and travel across France as needed.
