Junior Data Operations Analyst

About the role

Pixel Systems is looking for a Junior Data Operations Analyst to support a logistics and supply partner transitioning from fragmented spreadsheets to a centralized reporting system. The role is fully remote and focuses on ensuring data moves accurately between logistics platforms and new PostgreSQL databases.

Key responsibilities

• Review daily data entry logs to spot inconsistencies or missing information.
• Run basic SQL queries to generate reports for developers and the client.
• Map legacy spreadsheet fields into the new PostgreSQL database schema.
• Test API connections to verify real‑time data flow from logistics systems.
• Clean duplicate records and enforce standardized naming conventions.
• Update internal documentation on data handling processes.
• Participate in weekly demos to showcase data quality and system progress.
• Assist with basic QA tasks to ensure edge‑case handling.

Required profile

• Organized and detail‑oriented, with a passion for turning messy information into clean data.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment and communicating progress through documentation and short video updates.
• Basic understanding of data pipelines and willingness to learn new tools.

Required skills
