Internal Auditor

About the role

The Group Internal Auditor supports audit engagements across European entities and functions, working under the guidance of Group Internal Audit managers and seniors. This position offers exposure to operational, financial, compliance and performance audits in an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of audit or advisory assignments across Group entities.
• Perform testing, process walkthroughs, document reviews and control assessments.
• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, control weaknesses and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare working papers, summaries and evidence‑based documentation.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews at various organizational levels and capture key insights.
• Draft recommendations to strengthen internal controls, risk management and operational performance.
• Assist in preparing audit reports and presentations for local and senior management.
• Utilise data analytics, digital tools and AI‑enabled productivity tools while maintaining professional skepticism and data confidentiality.

Required profile

• Early‑career professional with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of relevant experience; Big 4 experience strongly preferred.
• Strong interest in internal audit, compliance, risk management and business performance.
• Fluent English (French is a plus); willingness to travel at least 50% of the time.
• CIA, CPA or CA certifications considered an important asset.
