Interim Legal Counsel – Commercial Contracts (France)

About the role

We are seeking an interim Legal Counsel to support high‑value global outsourcing and facilities‑management contracts for a multinational client base. The role is based in France and will work closely with global legal, operations and commercial teams to ensure robust commercial and legal risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate and support complex Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Local Country Agreements.
• Provide advice on commercial, operational and legal risks associated with outsourcing and facilities‑management projects.
• Collaborate with global legal, operations and commercial stakeholders to drive fast‑paced, multinational transactions.
• Assist in the implementation of GDPR compliance and French transfer of undertakings regulations (Article L.1224‑1).

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer in France with at least 3 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong commercial contracts background, preferably in outsourcing or facilities‑management contexts.
• Fluent in both English and French.
• Ability to work in a hybrid/remote setting with occasional travel to the Paris office.

Required skills

• Knowledge of GDPR.
• Understanding of French transfer of undertakings rules (Article L.1224‑1).
