Head of Marketing

About the role

As Head of Marketing at Swan, you will report to the Chief Business Officer and shape the go‑to‑market strategy across product marketing, brand, content, growth and regional marketing. Your mission is to position Swan as the leading embedded banking platform in Europe, helping software companies understand and adopt embedded finance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Marketing team, coordinating central Content, Growth, Product Marketing functions and local Marketing Managers, setting priorities, OKRs and allocating resources.
• Strengthen brand positioning and scale awareness across core European markets (France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Belgium).
• Own content and communications strategy across website, social media, events and PR, turning complex products into compelling stories.
• Build repeatable go‑to‑market motions that drive demand generation and pipeline growth in partnership with Sales and RevOps.
• Develop strategic partner marketing initiatives to amplify reach and accelerate growth.
• Own product marketing from customer insights and positioning to launches, adoption and commercial enablement.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in marketing, including at least 2 years in payments.
• Proven leadership of a team of 4+ people, comfortable working with diverse cultures and locations.
• Broad experience across growth marketing, brand, content, events and product marketing.
• Structured, execution‑oriented and business‑driven, turning customer insights into strong positioning.
• Clear, influential communicator who can simplify complex ideas.
