Group Financial Reporting and Consolidation Manager

About the role

EX NIHILO, a Paris‑based haute perfumery house, is seeking a Group Financial Reporting and Consolidation Manager to support the CFO in steering the Group’s financial performance. The role will lead the production of reliable financial information and drive continuous improvement of reporting processes across its French, UK and US subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounting activities of subsidiaries and coordinate external accounting firms.
• Ensure compliance with Group accounting standards and policies.
• Organise and secure monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes.
• Manage complex transaction accounting and liaise with external auditors.
• Lead the preparation and approval of statutory consolidated financial statements (French GAAP, transition to IFRS).
• Review and execute intercompany eliminations, consolidation entries and scope changes.
• Produce monthly consolidated management accounts and financial reports for the CFO and executive team.
• Support the semi‑annual consolidated financial report for bank partners under LBO covenants.

Required profile

• Proven experience in group accounting, consolidation and statutory reporting.
• Strong knowledge of French GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience working with external auditors and accounting service providers.
• Ability to manage multi‑entity environments across France, the UK and the US.
• High level of rigor, ownership and analytical mindset.
