Grants and Tax Incentives Specialist

About the role

Air Products is seeking a Grants and Tax Incentives Specialist to join its Funding Management team. The role supports global business projects by identifying, securing, and managing grant and tax incentive opportunities that drive innovation and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement grant strategies aligned with business ambitions across European, national and regional programs.
• Support the creation of an internal funding function to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Prepare and submit grant proposals and tax‑incentive applications in multiple jurisdictions.
• Optimize application and administration workflows to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor trends in the grants and incentives landscape and share insights with internal teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal collaborators and external funding bodies.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry innovations, business drivers and regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Proven track record in identifying and acquiring grants and tax incentives.
• Deep understanding of European, national and regional funding landscapes.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams such as R&D, Operations, Finance, Legal, Tax, Sales and Marketing.
• Excellent written communication to articulate technical, financial and strategic concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, comfortable with complex and ambiguous issues.
• Ability to manage multiple time‑sensitive projects simultaneously.
