Financial Controller – Engineering Cost & Transformation

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a Financial Controller to join its Finance Department in Marignane, France. You will be at the heart of the engineering cost structure, supporting the transformation of the French engineering perimeter and ensuring accurate financial reporting across France and Germany.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain cost centre and hourly‑rate structures for the engineering department.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements for France and Germany (≈ 3,700 employees, €700 M scope).
• Monitor engineering‑specific financial metrics, validate hourly rates and present findings to operational teams.
• Lead budget and forecast cycles, and act as the primary finance contact for engineering projects.
• Support the VALUE transformation process, manage business cases and allocate costs to programmes.
• Represent Finance for the engineering perimeter, provide finance education and facilitate the MyHours booking tool.
• Coordinate with the Intellectual Property department on finance topics and assist with the new SAP ERP implementation.

Required profile

• Fluent French and advanced English.
• 2‑5 years of experience in finance or controlling.
• Strong autonomy, stakeholder‑management and service‑mindset.
• Interest or knowledge of engineering environments is a plus.

Required skills

• SAP (financial modules).
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets.
