Field Clinical Specialist – Mitral Therapies

About the role

The Field Clinical Specialist will support the Transcatheter Mitral & Tricuspid Therapies business unit by developing clinical education materials, certifying centers and staff, and providing expert guidance throughout clinical investigations and commercial roll‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Certify hospitals, physicians and related personnel according to internal SOPs.
• Interact with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and proctors to ensure optimal device usage.
• Deliver education on device handling, implantation procedures and troubleshooting.
• Design, update and maintain training curricula, materials and tools based on trial experience and company guidelines.
• Conduct one‑on‑one and structured in‑service training sessions for physicians and hospital staff.
• Provide post‑procedure technical support to ensure consistent patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with Sales and Business Managers to implement growth strategies and upsell in strategic accounts.
• Validate software and hardware updates in the field and monitor market and competitive activity.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in medical devices or clinical settings, preferably as a CathLab nurse.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience delivering training in a clinical or technical environment.
• Strong flexibility for frequent regional travel.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
