Engagement Director

About the role

RetSci is looking for an experienced Engagement Director to join its fast‑growing Delivery team in Paris. You will become the expert on our vendor partners’ software solutions and lead end‑to‑end implementation projects for retail clients, ensuring that the technology delivers measurable business value.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new sales leads together with software vendor partners.
• Support vendor partners throughout the sales cycle by providing retail industry expertise.
• Lead client design workshops, gather and document technical and configuration requirements.
• Communicate data and interface needs with client IT teams.
• Prepare and deliver presentations for design sessions.
• Lead design sessions, offering solution and industry best‑practice recommendations.
• Become the subject‑matter expert for the solution(s) and prototype them for client demonstrations.
• Develop creative approaches to solve complex problems and optimise tool performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience at a retailer, retail consulting firm, or retail software vendor.
• Strong familiarity with supply‑chain planning, demand planning, assortment planning, merchandise financial planning, and allocation/replenishment.
• Proven experience delivering solution implementations in a retail context.
