EMEA Warehouse Manager

About the role

The Excellence Warehouse Manager will lead warehousing operations across the EMEA region for an Animal Nutrition & Pet Foods business. Reporting to the EMEA Logistics Director, you will be responsible for optimizing storage, transport flows and ensuring safety, service and sustainability standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Define, standardise and continuously improve warehousing strategies and processes for raw materials, packaging and finished goods across EMEA.
• Optimise replenishment and outbound flows by selecting efficient transport modes, schedules and frequencies.
• Develop and implement SOPs covering safety, quality, operations, cost and service.
• Support selection, pricing and contract negotiations with 3PL partners and monitor their performance through KPIs.
• Ensure proper implementation, maintenance and utilisation of WMS (and TMS where applicable) and drive automation projects.
• Manage the warehousing budget, monitor KPIs, analyse trends and take corrective actions.
• Guarantee compliance with internal standards, regulatory requirements and environmental objectives.
• Promote health and safety, coach teams and share best‑practice across the organisation.

Required profile

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Logistics Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain or customs, including management of external partners.
• Proven track record in warehousing management, supply chain optimisation and project management.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and change‑management skills.
• Fluent in French and English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation and use.
• Transport Management System (TMS) knowledge.
• Enterprise resource planning tools such as SAP and Coupa.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI for data analysis.
