Cleanroom Lithography Equipment & Production Engineer

About the role

Join the newly created Cleanroom Operations team at Alice & Bob in Aubervilliers. As a Tool Owner and hands‑on production engineer you will be responsible for the lithography scope – electron‑beam and laser lithography, resist coating, bake, development, stripping and wet processing – ensuring the line runs at industrial cadence.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain tool uptime, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot first‑level issues and coordinate supplier interventions.
• Translate the weekly wafer launch plan into a detailed tool‑level schedule, balance load across technicians and re‑plan when equipment is down.
• Execute qualified recipes on experimental and test wafers, including unattended runs, and ensure full traceability in the MES.
• Write, update and improve SOPs, qualify and train technicians together with the Process Owner.
• Identify and remove bottlenecks (cycle time, batch size, change‑over) and feed capacity models for ramp planning.
• Apply cleanroom, chemical handling and equipment safety rules, contributing to risk assessments for unattended operation.

Required profile

• 3+ years hands‑on experience in a semiconductor cleanroom, pilot line or micro/nanofabrication facility.
• Direct experience operating and maintaining process equipment, including preventive maintenance and supplier coordination.
• Solid knowledge of semiconductor unit processes (deposition, lithography, etching, wet processing, metrology) and vacuum‑system maintenance.
• Comfort with production data (MES, spreadsheets, basic statistical analysis) and load‑plan creation.
• Proven ability to write SOPs, train staff and adopt an ownership mindset for tool availability.
• Master’s or engineering degree in microelectronics, materials science, physics or equivalent; fluent English.
