Business Development Internship – Paris & Casablanca

About the role

Join Clifford Chance’s cross‑border Partnership Management team as a Business Development Intern. Based in the Paris office, you will support both the Paris and Casablanca teams, gaining exposure to legal market development across France, Morocco and Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of the Moroccan and French markets and the firm’s specialised practice areas.
• Assist in creating and maintaining business development materials such as brochures and client presentations for both offices.
• Support the organisation and delivery of client events, seminars and networking initiatives, ensuring smooth collaboration between Paris and Casablanca.
• Follow up on client focus programmes shared by the two offices to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities.
• Conduct research and compile intelligence on clients and markets using internal and external sources.
• Liaise with colleagues across the Clifford Chance network to support client initiatives and cross‑border projects.
• Draft content for newsletters, press releases and social media, highlighting Casablanca‑based activities and achievements.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and communication strategies.

Required profile

• Current university student pursuing a degree in business, marketing, law or a related field.
• Strong interest in legal services, international markets and client development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; French is a plus.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to work independently as well as within a multicultural team.
