Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – EASA B1 Certification

About the role

Join a leading international aircraft manufacturer as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with EASA B1 certification. You will work on complex repair and maintenance projects worldwide, supporting airline customers during critical maintenance, structural repairs, and aircraft recovery operations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as EASA Part 66 B1 Certifying Staff for all maintenance and repair activities.
• Manage aircraft repair projects from preparation through final release to service.
• Coordinate technical teams and subcontractors on customer sites.
• Ensure compliance with EASA regulations and maintenance requirements.
• Supervise maintenance, repair, and structural modification activities.
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety standards, and delivery schedules.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during aircraft recovery and repair operations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with airline customers and maintenance organisations.
• Support planning, logistics and engineering teams throughout project execution.

Required profile

• Valid EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence Category B1.
• Minimum two current Airbus Type Ratings in the B1 category.
• At least five years of certifying experience in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong experience in aircraft maintenance, heavy maintenance or structural repair environments.
• Advanced English; French, German or Spanish is a plus.
• Excellent safety awareness and commitment to quality.
