Tax Manager

About the role

Qonto is looking for a Tax Manager to act as the right‑hand to the Head of Tax as the company transitions to a regulated financial institution. You will oversee day‑to‑day tax management across France and multiple European jurisdictions, covering corporate tax, VAT, product tax and transfer pricing.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in setting up the tax strategy, identifying opportunities and ensuring correct tax treatment across the group.
• Assist Finance and Accounting teams with tax computation and accounting, supervising calculations, reviewing declarations and ensuring timely filing.
• Coordinate tax compliance across Europe by partnering with local tax advisors and the accounting team.
• Own product tax analysis, defining tax treatment and reporting obligations for new products in France and abroad, and creating client‑facing tax information.
• Manage transfer pricing documentation, reporting and computation for the entire group.
• Serve as the bridge between tax and other functions (Finance, Accounting, Product, Legal) and represent Qonto with tax authorities.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate, VAT and international tax within a fintech or financial services environment.
• Proven ability to develop and implement tax strategies and ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong communication skills to work with internal teams and external advisors, and to liaise with tax authorities.
• Detail‑oriented with a track record of managing complex tax projects and documentation.
