Senior Systems Platform Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Systems Platform Engineer at Mastercard, you will shape the architecture and implementation of our multi‑region infrastructure platform. You will integrate with internal and external technology services to deliver secure, scalable solutions that create value for our customers and support our inclusive digital economy.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain assigned platform technologies and associated software products.
• Support a holistic platform security posture by identifying risks, escalating concerns, and implementing mitigation plans.
• Develop status reports, manage implementation and troubleshooting activities, and update project plans as needed.
• Collaborate with internal development teams to enable better decision‑making and drive system and platform initiatives.
• Provide technical assistance to ensure optimal system and platform performance.
