National Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking a National Account Manager to lead and expand strategic retail partnerships for a well‑established toy brand across France. The role is permanent, based in France, and offers the chance to influence growth in the French toy market through relationship building, strategic planning and commercial negotiation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with key retail partners throughout France.
• Develop and implement strategic account plans to meet sales targets and business objectives.
• Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing, promotions and annual trading terms.
• Analyse sales data, market trends and customer performance to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver best‑in‑class customer support and execution.
• Monitor competitor activity and provide market insights to support business strategy.
• Build strong forecasting and demand‑planning processes with retail partners.
• Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows and industry events.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or National Account Manager in the toy industry or consumer‑goods sector.
• Strong network and existing relationships with major French retailers.
• Excellent negotiation and commercial management abilities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales and market data.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Based in France with willingness to travel as required.
