Client Service Specialist – Paris

About the role

J.P. Morgan is seeking a motivated Client Service Specialist to join its International Private Bank team in Paris. The role provides first‑class, day‑to‑day service to private‑bank clients, supporting bankers and ensuring smooth execution of transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Execute cash movements, foreign‑exchange trades, loan and deposit fixings, and corporate‑action processing.
• Monitor client cash balances, manage overdrafts, and liaise with clients to cover positions.
• Perform account maintenance tasks such as opening/closing accounts, address changes, stop payments, and fee billing.
• Respond to client inquiries, research issues, and resolve problems through collaboration with bankers, product specialists, and operations.
• Identify potential fraud, errors, or losses and ensure prompt resolution.
• Spot cross‑sell opportunities and forward them to bankers and product partners.
• Maintain data quality for client hierarchy and account alignment.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent financial qualifications.
• Native fluency in French and English.
• Strong relationship‑management, communication, and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and technology environment.
• Solid understanding of deposit, banking, brokerage, custody, investment‑management, mutual‑fund, life‑insurance, and credit products.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Previous experience in a similar role within financial services or banking.
