Regional Sales Manager – Government & Defense

About the role

Bitdefender is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead its public‑sector business in France. You will build strategic relationships with government agencies, defense organisations, critical infrastructure providers and national cybersecurity stakeholders, driving growth of Bitdefender’s advanced security solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute long‑term account strategies for central government, ministries, ANSSI, defence, local authorities, healthcare, utilities, transportation and public research organisations.
• Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets, maintain a qualified pipeline and manage complex multi‑stakeholder sales cycles.
• Lead executive customer engagements and drive large strategic cybersecurity opportunities.
• Establish trusted relationships with CIOs, CISOs, procurement leaders, security directors and digital transformation executives.
• Partner with major integrators and system integrators such as Capgemini, Sopra Steria, Orange Cyberdefense, Atos/Eviden, Thales, Airbus and Naval Group.
• Participate in UGAP contracts, government procurement frameworks and national cyber‑defence initiatives.
• Coordinate internal proposal teams and collaborate with Government Affairs, Marketing, Product, MDR Sales Engineering and Executive Leadership.

Required profile

• 8‑12+ years of experience selling enterprise cybersecurity solutions.
• Strong background in the French public sector and proven success closing complex strategic deals.
• Deep knowledge of French procurement processes.
• Fluent in French and English.
