Group Tax Accounting & Reporting Manager

About the role

The Group Tax Accounting & Reporting Manager is responsible for overseeing tax reporting, effective tax rate (ETR) management and tax provision processes at the group level. You will work closely with the Group Tax Department, local tax teams and finance functions to ensure accurate tax accounting in line with IFRS standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the Group Effective Tax Rate (ETR), producing tax proof at group and segment level.
• Compute and book current and deferred tax provisions in the Tagetik consolidation system, ensuring compliance with IAS 12.
• Validate jurisdictional tax rates in coordination with the Group Tax Department and local teams.
• Analyse ETR drivers, including blended rates, temporary and permanent differences, and changes in tax legislation.
• Identify and separate IFRS‑driven temporary differences from tax‑driven items such as NOLs and tax credits.
• Assist in modelling tax projections to support deferred tax asset recognition decisions.
• Prepare the tax section of the Group financial statements and annual report footnotes.
• Design, test and maintain the Group tax reporting package template and coordinate the annual Tax Package process.
• Calculate interim and projected annual ETR (EAETR) and book interim tax charges.
• Book IFRIC 23 provisions for uncertain tax positions and ensure consistency with auditors.
• Extract data for Pillar Two (GloBE) calculations and support Country‑by‑Country Reporting (CbCR) initiatives.
• Contribute to the Group’s financial digital transformation roadmap with a focus on tax reporting.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of IFRS tax accounting standards (IAS 12, IFRIC 23).
• Experience managing group‑level tax reporting and effective tax rate calculations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with tax, finance and consolidation teams across multiple jurisdictions.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills.
