About the role
SGS is seeking a Global Head of Key Account Management for its Pharma segment. Reporting to the Pharma Business Development leadership team, you will drive growth strategy, market expansion, and commercial excellence across a worldwide portfolio of pharmaceutical clients.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the Key Account team to identify target markets and support corporate development strategies.
- Prioritise and deliver analytics projects in collaboration with internal Pharma stakeholders.
- Manage strategic accounts, including complex RFP/RFI responses, multisite project coordination, and account governance.
- Represent SGS at client meetings, conferences, and presentations to showcase global capabilities.
- Oversee account development planning and engage with the global network.
- Super‑user support for commercial systems such as CRM and CPQ, coordinating with IT as needed.
- Support regional business development meetings and contribute to global sales and marketing strategy.
- Assist with commercial integration of acquisitions and mentor Business Development managers in new markets.
Required profile
- Extensive experience in commercial operations support for Life Sciences services in a fast‑paced, global environment.
- Deep understanding of drug commercialization, analytical and CMC requirements.
- Strong leadership skills across culturally diverse organisations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Fluency in English.
