Global Events Excellence Project Manager

About the role

The Global Events Excellence Project Manager will lead the end‑to‑end delivery of world‑class congresses and events for a pharmaceutical/biotechnology organization. Reporting to the Head of Events, Marketing & Launch Excellence, you will work across Paris and London, coordinating global and local teams to turn strategic intent into flawless execution.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned congresses and events, ensuring clear communication among all stakeholders.
• Lead global cross‑functional planning teams, aligning with Asset Teams, Medical Excellence, affiliates, and external partners.
• Manage logistics, ancillary meetings, and affiliate participation across multiple regions.
• Oversee external agencies (logistics, booth, vendors) to guarantee high‑quality delivery.
• Monitor event execution before, during, and after each event, driving continuous improvement.
• Track and manage event budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
• Create and manage service contracts in collaboration with Legal, Purchasing, and Ethics & Compliance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethics, and regulatory standards, escalating risks when identified.

Required profile

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Extensive hands‑on experience planning and delivering pharmaceutical or biotechnology events, congresses, or programs.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations such as the Sunshine Act and HIPAA.
• Previous people or project team management experience is a plus.
• Fluent English (mandatory); French is a strong advantage.
