Freelance MCP Software Engineer

About the role

Alpic is building the next‑generation infrastructure that will power an agent‑driven web. As a Freelance MCP Software Engineer you will work directly with customers to design, develop, and support cutting‑edge MCP servers that enable AI‑native workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and deploy MCP server solutions based on customer requirements and best practices.
• Provide end‑to‑end project ownership, including architecture, implementation, quality assurance, and post‑deployment support.
• Gather and translate customer feedback and company vision into functional features.
• Collaborate with the founding team to refine product direction and improve the platform.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 2 years with TypeScript.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, remote‑friendly environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Curiosity about AI and MCP technologies, with personal or professional projects in the space considered a plus.
