Clinical Project Manager Internship

About the role

Join Sonio’s clinical team as a Clinical Project Manager Intern, working at the intersection of prenatal medicine, research, and artificial intelligence. You will support the development and validation of AI‑driven solutions for fetal and maternal health while gaining hands‑on experience in real‑world clinical data collection across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to university hospitals and private practices to organise and execute data‑collection sessions.
• Coordinate de‑identification and anonymisation of DICOM imaging data in line with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in preparing and submitting IRB/ethics committee applications and amendments.
• Support outreach and protocol negotiations with institutions interested in data‑collection partnerships.
• Contribute to drafting and improving SOPs and data‑collection protocols.
• Track data‑collection progress, site status, and regulatory timelines accurately.
• Liaise between clinical partners, the Data Engineering team, and the Clinical team to ensure smooth execution.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Master’s program (M2) in business, public health, biomedical engineering, health management or a related field.
• Previous internships, preferably in health or research settings.
• Comfortable engaging directly with medical providers and working on‑site in clinical environments.
• Interest in clinical research processes, including IRB submissions and data governance.
• Strong organisational and project‑management skills.

Required skills

• Experience handling DICOM imaging data, including anonymisation procedures.
