Aramco-Approved Vendor Inspector (VID) – Relocation to France

About the role

Intertek, a global leader in testing, inspection and certification, is seeking experienced Aramco‑Approved Vendor Inspectors to join its Lyon office. The position offers a permanent contract, full visa and work‑permit sponsorship, and relocation assistance for candidates willing to move to France.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct vendor inspections of equipment, components and fabrication processes at supplier facilities.
• Verify compliance with Aramco specifications, international codes (ASME, API, AWS, ASTM) and client requirements.
• Document inspection findings, issue reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure quality, safety and schedule adherence on high‑profile projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or diploma in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Welding, Materials, Electrical or Instrumentation engineering (or equivalent).
• 5‑10+ years of vendor inspection experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, power or heavy‑fabrication environments.
• Prior exposure to Saudi Aramco projects is strongly preferred.
• Hold an Aramco “approved vendor inspector / VID” status with valid QM26 and QM30 codes.

Required skills

• Aramco QM codes: QM26 (mandatory), QM30 (mandatory), QM27, QM31.
• NDT certification Level II/III in PT, MT, UT, RT.
• Welding inspection certification (e.g., CSWIP, AWS).
• API/ASME code qualifications (e.g., API 650, API 620, ASME Section V/IX).
• Strong knowledge of welding, metallurgy, heat treatment, materials testing and fabrication processes.
